Customer Edit Links: Let Clients Update Designs Without Giving Account Access

Share a project-scoped edit link so customers can adjust their own design and submit changes. You can compare, review, and apply revisions safely.

A customer asks, "Can you just let me tweak the image placement and mat size myself?" Usually that means a long back-and-forth: send screenshot, request changes, wait, update, repeat. It slows production and increases mistakes.

How the flow works

  • Create a customer edit link from the editor header or share modal.
  • Set link expiry in hours, and optionally add a PIN.
  • Customer opens the link and edits only that project.
  • Customer submits updates; owner sees a pending customer revision state.
  • Owner compares versions and applies customer changes into a new canonical version snapshot.
For security, existing customer URLs are not re-shown after creation. If needed, revoke existing links and generate a fresh one.
