Stop Manually Organizing Order Files. Let Google Drive Do It.
WrapStudio auto-creates Google Drive folders per order with original uploads and print-ready files - organized by date, SKU, or customer.
Jenny's morning routine starts the same way every day. Open email. Download 30 customer upload files. Rename each one with the order number and product specs. Drag them into the right folders. Occasionally mix up two orders because the filenames are both "IMG_4521.jpg."
This takes an hour. Every single morning.
The manual file management trap
If you run a print shop on Shopify, you know the drill. Customer uploads come in through whatever file upload app you use. You download them from the app dashboard. You rename them so your production team knows which order they belong to. You sort them into folders by date or product type.
Then you need print-ready versions - proper DPI, bleed, color profile. So you open each image in Photoshop or your prep tool, adjust it, export it, rename it again, and put it in the production folder.
For 30 orders, that's easily 60 file operations. Per day.
How the sync works
When a customer completes an order on your Shopify store, WrapStudio automatically:
- Creates a folder in your Google Drive named with the order number
- Saves the original customer upload at full resolution
- Generates and saves the print-ready file with proper bleed, DPI, and sRGB color profile
- Organizes folders by your preferred structure - date, product type, customer name, or SKU
Your production team opens Google Drive and everything is there. No downloading from dashboards, no renaming, no manual sorting.
Setting it up
In the WrapStudio Shopify app, go to Settings and connect your Google Drive account. Choose your folder structure preference. That's it. New orders sync automatically from that point forward.
Google Drive sync is available on Growth and Pro plans.
WrapStudio is free to start. No credit card required.
